Gillian June offers a collection based upon traditional tailoring with a contemporary twist.
With roots in Savile Row, Gillian June supports the art of hand tailored garments.
Gillian June often use upcycled, vintage, and surplus (end-of-roll) materials. They also use up to 95% of their fabrics by creating a small, innovative 'zero waste' collection from the leftovers (such as accessories and baby clothes)
Gillian June limits waste by hand-cutting patterns, and using any leftover materials for their upcycled collections. Additionally, they promote the longevity of their garments by offering free repairs for three years after purchase.
Gillian June clothes are handmade in small runs either in London or Bangalore, by tailors who are paid a living wage.
Gillian June only purchases natural, biodegradable materials, however they do use upcycled materials as well.
