Wynad sustainable fashion for gender equality


WYNAD is a London-based label that offers simple wardrobe staples with avant-guard pieces and details sprinkled throughout the collection.  An adventurous couple, Hannah and Rob, founded WYNAD as a social enterprise that aims to empower their workforce and promote gender equality. They work with a network of Fair Trade suppliers who share their vision, and donate 10% of sales to support women empowerment projects in rural India.

Gender Equality Through Sustainable Fashion

Hannah and Rob were inspired to launch WYNAD after volunteering in Wayanad, India at the TGG Foundation helping local women access safe and secure working opportunities. The TGG has a stitching workshop known as the “Women Empowerment Centre” which gave the couple the idea to use sustainably-produced fashion as a tool promote gender equality and fair employment. They donate 10% of their sales to TGG projects empowering local women.
